FDA Awards Funds for Three Projects to Collect, Analyze and Report Data on Antimicrobial Use in Animals

We are excited and grateful to receive FDA funding to enhance antimicrobial use (AMU) data collection on dairy farms! This support will help us develop an AI-supported system that offers farmers valuable insights, standardizes AMU data, automates data collection, and safeguards proprietary information. Looking forward to developing the system with my great co-PI team at Cornell University: Daryl Nydam, Qing Zhao, and Jennifer J. Sun! By driving data-driven AMU stewardship, we aim to further research on antimicrobial use and resistance.
