Ece’s current projects include antimicrobial use and resistance in food animals, microbial food safety, and epidemiology of infectious diseases in food production systems. She has a PhD in Food Science and Technology with a minor in Statistics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Ece earned her BS in Food Engineering and MS in Biotechnology at the Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Currently, she is a Research Associate in Ivanek Lab.
